During November 15-17 and 22-24,  GG102 student groups will travel down by lab section during their final lab to the concourse to present their action plans on poster display boards. The GG102 students have been working in small groups researching a variety of different human geography topics with the intent to suggest ways to create more sustainable, environmental, economic and/or community spaces for WLU. their goal is to develop an innovative action plan for the university community documenting how WLU community members (students, faculty and staff) can bring about sustainable change.

*Tues, Nov 15, and Tues, Nov 22, at:
8:45 am to 10:10 am, 12:45 pm to 2:10 pm or 2:45 pm to 4:10 pm
*Wed, Nov 16, and Wed, Nov 23, at:

  3. this cottage is really cool I was wondering whether it showed details of how it is sustainable cause the site only really showed pictures… still a cool concept though
    I was kind of debating to myself whether having a house below ground would use more soil than one above ground (because of removal of soil and habitats within the soil) but i guess they would both have their benefits – this house can allow wildlife to be uninterrupted by housing developments.

    A friend of mine was in that class, and she mentioned it to me! I think that this is a chance for students to consider more about the environment.
